Nerd vs Nerd

So I know we are all very excited about The Dark Knight Rises coming out July 2012 (not sarcasm, truly am very overly excited)!

But if you are a nerd like me, you have already started thinking about the future of Batman movies. Since TDKR, as we all know, is the last of this franchise of Batman, what will come next?

WELL! Christopher Nolan is attached to a Batman reboot starting in 2015 as a producer. Who knows what this new Batman will have in store.

I have my many hopes/thoughts about it. Here is my favorite thought/hope:

-This new Batman will take place in a universe that allows meta-humans to exist.

-The story/movie starts with Dick Grayson already existing as Robin for X amount of years. (they can simply explain his origins if they so choose with flashbacks)

-The flashbacks would move the story along about his internal as well as external problems he is having with Bruce/Batman.

-Through the movie we learn that Dick Grayson wants to stop being Batman’s sidekick and be a stand alone hero. Though due to the villain in this movie they must complete this last mission together before they part ways. At the end of the movie Dick moves to Bludhaven.

THIS CAN OPEN UP SO MUCH!

-There can be a spin off movie of just Nightwing and that franchise can start.

-The Batman franchise can continue with overlaps/crossovers if they so choose.

-The Batman franchise can introduce a new Robin.
